Wellness Coaching

First of all, let's start off by talking a little bit about what coaching is and what it can do for you
in your life.

Having a Life Coach enables an individual to have a close relationship and partnership with his/her coach, which provides the structure, accountability, expertise, and inspiration to enable him/her to learn, grow, and develop beyond what he/she can do alone!

As you Wellness coach, I will:

  • Help you identify and clarify your priorities and areas for development.
  • Use a diverse array of assessment, psychological, and behavior change tools to empower you to take charge, connect with your deepest motivators, and learn how to grow and change.
  • Facilitate insight and clarity through inquiry, reflection, and personal discovery.
  • Elicit collaborative solutions and strategies.
  • Honor the wisdom, resourcefulness, and creativity within you.
  • Work with you, the whole person.
  • Increase accountability and responsibility.
  • Stir you to accomplish more!

Your sessions with me are usually scheduled bi-weekly (or as needed) by telephone or in-person, for three months or longer, to help you clarify where you want to go and initiate the steps to get there.

You are creative, resourceful, and whole!

I'm dedicated to YOUR success, and that means, at times, I will take on different roles. Sometimes I will be your sounding board, other times, your mentor, and, sometimes, a challenger, using "tough love."

While traditionally a psychologist or therapist works to understand how the past is affecting and influencing the present to help clients heal emotional wounds or resolve problems, I work in the present, helping you define and create a new future. (Note: I do not diagnose mental and physical health ailments and may refer individuals to a psychologist, therapist, or physician for treatment, if appropriate.)

The coaching partnership is unique because the total focus is on what you want to achieve, and how this partnership can enable you to reach your goals. I promise to listen to your dreams and desires and will use compassion and enthusiasm to assist you, as we develop a strategy that meets your goals. We'll do all of this while working through obstacles and celebrating your victories along the way!

As a Wellness Coach, I'm skilled in looking at a bigger picture of wellbeing as well as the life issues that impact health issues. Wellness includes fitness, stress management, nutrition, weight loss, and health.

I am uniquely qualified to provide coaching within this field of expertise and professional training.

This includes:

  • Focused coaching alongside physical training to exercise, instruct on technique, and supervise the fitness program.
  • Special attention given to the design, intensity, frequency and duration to maximize client benefits in the safest manner.
  • The focus is on your physical activity and exercise program to help you develop a fit lifestyles.
